4) App permissions & third-party SDKs

Our app requires only the minimum permissions necessary to function. We do not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect user data.

Permissions used by the App

  • RECORD_AUDIO – required to monitor ambient sound. Audio is processed locally on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS – optional, to notify you when a sound threshold is exceeded. This permission can be disabled in your device settings.

Third-party SDKs

This app does not include or rely on any third-party SDKs that collect or share user data.

5) Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by data type and business need.

6) Your choices

  • Permissions: grant/revoke in device settings anytime.
  • Marketing: unsubscribe via email links or contact us.
  • Analytics: some SDKs provide opt-out controls; see their docs or contact us.

7) Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age as defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12) Ads & tracking

We may display in-app ads delivered by ad networks that use device identifiers to provide relevant ads. You can reset your advertising ID in device settings and manage personalized ads with the relevant providers.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version and update the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the Services means you accept the changes.
